Skyler & Shelby's Sunny Summer Wedding at the University and Whist Club

Skyler and Shelby tied the knot on a sunny summer day at the University and Whist Club. Fun fact about these two: They’re both teachers! And they brought their favorite books to their engagement session at Valley Forge National Historic Park. It was a wonderful time working with them and all their friends and family.

Their entire day took place at the University and Whist Club. It was the perfect backdrop from start to finish! Skyler's gown was made by Claire's Fashions in Wilmington. The whole bridal party carried a handmade arrangement of Sola Wood Flowers that Skyler and her mom prepared before the big day. M. Cory Designs created the beautiful centerpieces on each table for the reception.

Our favorite thing about this whole amazing wedding is their ceremony. Under the trees just outside The Whist Club, Skyler and Shelby exchanged their own vows before sealing the deal with their first kiss as husband and wife.

Cocktail hour was full of laughs and discussion while feasting on The Whist Club's delicious catering. The 5-star food continued into the reception where toasts and dances were held. Mike from Must Be The Music lit up the dancefloor with great music and it seemed like almost everyone busted out their moves by the end of the night.

Decadent desserts and Skyler and Shelby's beautiful cake were made by Cakes by Kim right in Wilmington, Delaware. This day was too good!
